Plant Leader

Are you ready to take the lead in your career? Contech is looking for a dynamic and motivated Plant Leader to join our Pelham, AL plant. As a Plant Leader, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating production and shipping activities, and you'll be at the forefront of making things happen.

As a Plant Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating daily production and shipping schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Efficiently organizing and managing the workforce to maintain optimal productivity.
• Collaborating with plant management and quality control to resolve production issues and maintain quality standards.
• Overseeing loading activities, inspecting loads for accuracy, and ensuring the integrity of product shipments.
• Periodically checking accessory inventories and providing recommendations to plant management.
• Training laborers in various plant operations and safety protocols.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years experience working with equipment in manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of experience as a lead or supervisor.
• Strong organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Preferred:
  Forklift Certification.
