Kids Street Urgent Care is seeking a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Pelham, Alabama. The FNP will provide urgent and primary care services, including telemedicine and occupational medicine, and will lead a small medical team in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment.
We welcome recent graduates and early‑career FNPs. An on‑site orientation, training and ongoing support are provided.
The FNP will use the full scope of practice to treat patients of all ages, from infants to adults and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities:Provide care to all patients within scope of practice. Examples include:
- Diagnosing and treating upper respiratory issues
- Minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, suturing, splinting, etc.
- Orthopedic evaluations and management
- Reviewing x‑rays (with radiology oversight)
- Dermatology, eye problems, EKG interpretation
- Emergency management skills
- General gynecology
- Telemedicine and occupational medicine
- Managing patients of all ages
Clinic hours:
Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.;
Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Rotating schedule with alternating weekends.
- Family Nurse Practitioner board certification
- MSN or higher education (new graduates welcome)
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain it (cost covered)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
