Job Overview
The Re-Engagement Planning Advisor is responsible for learning the industry, products, product finance/insurance options (trust), services, and the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales software and proprietary contracting software. This role requires completing a training program that includes coursework, exams, and demonstration of required skills.
Job Responsibilities- Develop trusting relationships with prospective and existing client families to generate sales leads.
- Update prospective client contact information and detailed notes in the CRM sales system.
- Take initiative to contact prospective clients and schedule sales appointments, including evenings and weekends.
- Conduct appointments at customers' residences, Dignity Memorial locations, or virtually.
- Apply listening and empathy skills to guide prospective clients through the pre-planning process and selection of services and property that best meet their needs.
- Explain insurance (trust) product features.
- Complete sales and insurance (trust) contracts ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize CRM software to source leads from campaigns, prospective clients, and prior client sales to develop a sales pipeline.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments as appropriate.
- Seek manager coaching to improve sales cycle, techniques, software proficiency, and product knowledge.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Licenses:
Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license as required by state/province;
Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. - Experience:
Sales or customer experience preferred; previous experience with CRM sales systems preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite.
- Proficient with CRM and social networking apps, preferred.
- Professional demeanor and communication skills.
- Knowledge of another language (bilingual) preferred.
- Professional attire required when meeting with clients or representing the company.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions; comply with corporate dress code policy. Work may include sitting continuously for up to 6 hours per day. Physical effort involving manual dexterity for paperwork, calculator, computer, and phone usage is required.
Work HoursWorking beyond “standard” hours as the need arises.
