Process Barron is seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales organization across all product and service lines. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, developing sales strategies, and leading a high-performing sales team.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished industrial sales leader with a proven track record of business development, team leadership, customer relationship management, and strategic growth. This position works closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy- Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies that support company growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, and other sales personnel.
- Establish annual sales goals, forecasts, and budgets and monitor performance against targets.
- Drive accountability through sales metrics, reporting, and regular business reviews.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, new business development, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and industry partners.
- Support major sales opportunities and participate in customer negotiations and executive-level meetings.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue within existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities.
- Oversee proposal development, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and sales order management.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Estimating, and Customer Service teams to support successful project execution.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop top sales talent.
- Create succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and professional development.
- Represent Process Barron at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
- Support strategic customer visits, plant audits, and executive presentations.
- Maintain expertise in key industrial markets including power generation, pulp and paper, steel, mining, cement, wood products, and general manufacturing.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience within industrial equipment, manufacturing, engineered products, or related industries.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership and team management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and industrial experience.
- Demonstrated success achieving revenue growth and sales objectives.
- Strong understanding of industrial capital equipment and aftermarket services.
- Experience using CRM systems;
Salesforce experience preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams.
- Familiarity with industrial markets served by Process Barron.
