Overview
To maintain and repair the mobile equipment on site. Maintain and further develop mechanical PM program.
Responsibilities
* Provide support for all mobile equipment (forklifts, yard trucks, trailers and other items with maintenance requirements.
* Inspect, diagnose, repair and adjust equipment.
* Resolve repair issues regarding equipment repairs and maintenance.
* Develop and maintain current mechancial PM schedule for all equipment.
* Work with forklift service companies to assure they are providing the services requested and confirm the repairs are completed.
Qualifications
* Excellent safety and attendance record
* Understand mechanical systems
* Read electrical schematics
* Self-motivated
* Positive attitude
* Attention to detail and precision
* Trouble shooting and critical thinking
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Able to pass mechanical test
