Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) proudly serves more than 30,000 members throughout west-central Minnesota. As a locally owned electric cooperative, we’re committed to providing safe, reliable electricity and exceptional service to the communities we serve.

We are seeking a full-time Member Services Representative to join our team on-site in Pelican Rapids, MN. As one of the first points of contact for our member-owners (customers), you’ll provide responsive, accurate, and professional service while helping members with billing questions, account services, and Cooperative programs.

• Serve members by phone, email, and in person with professionalism and care.
• Answer questions regarding accounts, billing, payments, and Cooperative services.
• Assist members with service requests, payment arrangements, and available assistance programs.
• Maintain accurate account information and documentation.
• Collaborate with coworkers across departments to ensure timely, responsive service.
• Support communications during outages and other operational events.

• A combination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years in customer service, office administration, utilities, banking, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to learn new software systems and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technology.
• A commitment to providing outstanding service while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Starting Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Actual starting pay is based on qualifications, directly related experience, demonstrated competencies, and internal equity.
