Construction Accounting Analyst

Our client is hiring a Construction Accountant to join the team and assist with the company's job costing and work in progress reporting. Ideally targeting someone with a strong foundation in accounting or financial analysis with exposure to a construction environment.

• Analyze financial performance across active projects and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Monitor project budgets, costs and profitability to identify trends, risk and opportunities.
• Prepare recurring project performance reports for operations and executive leadership.
• Investigate cost variances and assist in developing recommendations to improve project performance.
• Support forecasting efforts by tracking project spending commitments and project outcomes.
• Assist with monitoring project billings, contract changes and financial milestones.
• Help improve reporting processes, data accuracy, and overall visibility into business performances.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Construction or similar industry exposure
• CPA or progress towards CPA preferred
