Join our compassionate team at Meadowview Nursing Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! Situated at 7300 US Hwy 78 in Pell City, Meadowview Nursing Center is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our 59 residents. We are currently seeking skilled and caring LPNs to join our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring residents for any adverse reactions, and providing education on medication management and side effects.
- Assist with resident assessments, including collecting vital signs, monitoring symptoms, and documenting changes in condition.
- Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure safe and effective care.
- Document nursing assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
