The LPN Supervisor plays a vital leadership role in overseeing the daily nursing operations of the facility. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing, this position ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of nursing staff.
- Ensure residents receive quality, compassionate care in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
- Monitor nursing practices to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support and mentor nursing team members to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Assist with staffing coordination, clinical oversight, and resident care management.
- Report changes in resident conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program or an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
- Current, active, and unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital, nursing home, long‑term care facility, or other related healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional resident‑centered care.
Preferred:
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience.
- Experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care settings.
