Position Overview
Provide direct nursing care in a Med Surg department at a healthcare facility. Responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and managing discharge planning.
RequirementsMust hold a valid RN license or be eligible for licensure in Alabama, and be a BLS Provider within 30 days of hire. A diploma from an accredited nursing program and at least one year of nursing experience are required.
Skills And Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care following established policies and protocols.
- Serve as primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for comprehensive patient care.
- Assess patient needs and facilitate discharge planning.
