Registered Nurse - Surgical Services - Days

Position Overview

• Provides direct nursing care in surgical services, specifically in OR pre-operative holding and block areas.
• Coordinates patient care by implementing and monitoring care plans, assessing patient conditions, and communicating updates.
• Serves as a primary discipline coordinator to ensure well-integrated patient care.
• Follows physician and nursing orders and collaborates on discharge planning with the healthcare team.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire, from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or college.
