Position Summary

The Weekend RN Supervisor provides clinical leadership and oversight of nursing operations during assigned shifts. This position ensures the delivery of quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and professional standards of nursing practice.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend operations.
  • Coordinate daily nursing activities to promote high-quality resident care.
  • Monitor compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing team members.
  • Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and problem resolution.
  • Promote effective communication among residents, families, physicians, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications Required
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to effectively direct staff and foster a positive team environment.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.
Preferred
  • Previous RN Supervisor experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care setting.
  • Experience leading nursing teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
