Job SummaryAre you the type of person who enjoys working for a mission-focused organization? In this role, you will support the Vermeer Charitable Foundation (VCF) Executive Director and the Foundation’s Board of Directors in carrying out activities that advance the Foundation’s mission of stewarding resources to be deployed locally, regionally, and globally in support of mission driven initiatives. We’re looking for an individual with organizational leadership and administrative proficiencies to serve all VCF stakeholders well.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Assist with VCF projects.
- Maintain the financial entry and reporting functions, grant award tracking, and coordination of all related correspondence for the Vermeer Charitable Foundation.
- Provide administrative support, including the creation and distribution of confidential reports, presentations, agendas, organizational mailings, and event scheduling.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Family Office and the Vermeer Chaplaincy program regarding leadership training initiatives.
- Lead small group educational sessions and subsequent follow-up efforts to confirm understanding and application.
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Education, or other related with five years of relevant experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and Quick Books; experience with grantmaking software preferred.
- Experience with a 501c3 in a mission-focused organization.
Occasional travel is expected of this position.
Work LocationONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
