Half-Time Welding Instructor
To teach at Pella's Career Academy

Pella Schools is anticipating a Welding Instructor opening for the  school year. Instructor teaches 2 blocks per day, providing students with hands-on instruction in welding and metal fabrication while fostering technical skills, workplace safety, and professional behaviors necessary for success in post-secondary education, skilled trades, and related careers.

• Teach welding instruction for 2 blocks per day; provide hands-on instruction in welding and metal fabrication.
• Foster technical skills, workplace safety, and professional behaviors necessary for success in post-secondary education, skilled trades, and related careers.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of welding experience (minimum of 3000 hours), with an emphasis in GMAW.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Metals Science or Industrial Arts preferred.
