Job Summary
- Adjunct ELL Workplace Literacy Instructor for a 15-week (45 hours) IETELL workplace literacy course to be taught Fall 2026 at Vermeer in Pella, IA. This customized curriculum is designed to equip English Language Learners with the necessary English language skills (such as industry-specific vocabulary) along with workplace communication and soft skills needed to do the job successfully. The curriculum will be provided to the instructor.

Essential Functions
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develop and/or utilize a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Foster a safe and civil learning environment. Inform students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree. Demonstrated effectiveness working with English language learners with varied cultures and backgrounds. ELL Teaching Experience.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience instructing a workplace literacy course. Experience coaching/teaching workforce preparation skills (soft skills).

Work Schedule - 15-week course (total of 45 hours). Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm – 5:30pm from September 1 – December 10, 2026.
