Job SummaryWork Shift 1 - First Shift: Are you a system thinker who uses your curiosity and ingenuity to identify customer needs, apply industry requirements and understanding of multiple technologies to innovate and optimize complex control systems? In this role you will identify stakeholder needs, derive requirements, conduct trade‑off analysis, develop algorithms and functional architectures, review product design, verify and troubleshoot systems.
We’re looking for a strong leader to work across a range of engineering disciplines to create unique solutions while having a strong focus on delivery and quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the field of systems, software, mechanical, agricultural, electrical, or aerospace and four year’s of product development experience in software, electronics, hydraulics, system and/or machine controls design or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proficient in developing electronic/hydraulic/mechanical control system.
- Experience in identifying stakeholder needs and translating to system requirements.
- Data‑based decision analysis via structure methods (decision, Pugh and trade space analysis).
- System integration and verification experience.
- Skilled in advanced troubleshooting skills, and root cause analysis utilizing FMEA, 8D’s, and 6 sigma tools.
- Strong preference for experience with model‑based design and agile software development.
- Experience using Matlab/Simulink, SYSML, Jira, and Dassault 3D Experience.
- Familiar with J1939 multiplexed communication and diagnostic protocols.
- Ability to communicate low details to broad system context based on needs of audience.
Occasional travel is expected of this position.
