Product Engineer

We are seeking a Product Engineer to support our drafting and design team while leading product improvement and certification initiatives across multiple product lines. This role will focus heavily on product recertification efforts, including evaluating current certification requirements, identifying new certification standards, defining testing strategies, and coordinating redesign activities when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have experience in product development, manufacturing, and project management, with a passion for improving product performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support product recertification projects across multiple product lines.
  • Evaluate existing certification levels, determine future certification requirements, and define necessary testing protocols.
  • Develop and implement product design changes that improve productivity, quality, customer experience, and manufacturability.
  • Support new product development efforts from concept through implementation.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while meeting schedule and budget objectives.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve implementation challenges that could impact project cost, timing, or quality.
  • Analyze product and process risks and communicate findings to engineering leadership.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure products are built and assembled according to design intent.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective engineering solutions.
  • Maintain design documentation and support testing, validation, and product improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related science field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a product development, product design, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience applying engineering principles to develop high-quality products, systems, and processes.
  • Proficiency with 3D solid modeling software.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using project management tools and managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with product certification, compliance testing, or validation programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, manufacturing teams, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
