Overview
Sr. Business Intelligent Operations Analyst. - ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

May vary by position and fluctuate due to changing business needs. - Analyze business requirements, develop design, manage configuration and integration, and conduct robust testing to support new system implementations, current system upgrades and business process changes and CI initiatives. Work to be reviewed with Sr. Analyst or manager. (approximately 55%)
- Provide day-to-day support for current business systems including issue identification and resolution, functional performance monitoring and tuning, and disaster recovery capability to meet business objectives, leveraging user feedback and internal metrics to drive improvement. (approximately 15%)
- Extract and format data to support functional reporting and metric needs. (approximately 5%)
- Coordinate development and execution of large projects across multiple systems and functions. (approximately 10%)
- Create and maintain documentation and conduct end user training as well as IT team training. Educate users in workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by the system. (approximately 15%)
- Responsibilities outside of normal business hours – primarily related to support, but at times may be required to support specific projects.
- Key senior member of the Manufacturing IT team and part of an Intelligent Operations agile team, coordinating with business process owners to translate requirements into systems solutions. Responsible for design to implementation, including process flows, APIs, UI designs, and identifying gaps in existing solutions to provide specs to the I4.0 technical team.
- Utilize a combination of business analyst and technical skills to deliver projects effectively and timely.
- Occasionally visit the shop floor to understand current processes, enable collaborative solutioning, and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork that supports timely completion of projects, including training support, monitoring progress, and communication among Pella and customer teams.
- Interact with Site IT, OT team, operations personnel, and the Manufacturing IT team. This position is primarily on-site, preferably in Pella, with discussions possible for candidates located at other Pella manufacturing locations.
- Coordinate testing scenarios and manage customer relationships in assigned areas. Assist internal customers with issue resolution and troubleshooting, including potential off-hours support or night-on-call rotation.
- Collaborate and communicate with the team in an agile/scrum environment. Mentor less experienced team members, including site IT at all plants throughout the company.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or other relevant fields; and 5+ years of experience, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
- Familiarity with collecting and using manufacturing data on the shop floor.
- Understanding of the integration between IT systems and Operations technology.
- Experience with I4.0 technologies (sensors, cameras, scanners, RFID, etc.) and mobile tools such as tablets and phones.
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of products.
- Able to understand and perform complex SQL query functions.
- Proficient with use of business intelligence tools and best practices.
- Strong leadership, organization and project management skills, and the ability to speak in front of groups of customers and/or employees.
- Familiarity with ERP applications like Oracle EBS. A focus on inventory and manufacturing knowledge preferred.
- Experience with AI and Machine learning.
- BI publisher reports.
- SQL/PLSQL.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Power
BI or similar business intelligence tools. - JIRA or similar agile tools.
Travel expected: 25% of time
