The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing warehouse operations ensuring the receipt, location, and shipment of goods coming through the warehouse and meeting customer delivery requirements. The Warehouse Manager leads a team to achieve organizational goals by motivating, and overseeing daily operations, with key duties including performance management (coaching/feedback), resource allocation, budget oversight, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance while maintaining accountability for overall team performance.
SCHEDULE:
* 2nd shift
* 3:00pm - 11:00pm (managers are here 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the shift)
* Monday through Friday with a rotational Saturday coverage schedule
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; or two to three years related experience of managing a warehouse
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret forecasting reports
* Ability to create reports and business correspondence
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
* Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point,
* Warehouse Management Software preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
* Develop and maintain daily and weekly staffing plans that align with production volume forecasts to ensure adequate coverage and on-time delivery of customer orders
* Leverages WMS and Oracle reporting tools to monitor operational performance and drive on-time delivery of trailers and products
* Monitors all team members' hourly performance and creates timely and thorough action plans for underperforming team members.
* Partner with supplier plants and Corporate Logistics to ensure customer satisfaction with on-time delivery and quality.
* Collaborate with Warehouse coordinators to assign work content based on variables, such as product availability to ship, trailer availability, and staffing
* Manages the flow of raw materials into and out of the Pella site, ensuring efficient cross-docking, timely shipments to off-site facilities, and accurate distribution to consolidation centers
* Oversees chain-of-custody validation for each finished trailer to guarantee compliance and traceability
* Ensures the safety of all team members by enforcing safety and housekeeping policies, identifies and promotes ergonomic improvements, and job rotation
