What You’ll Do

As Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will serve as the enterprise owner of manufacturing standard work and documentation systems, helping ensure consistency, quality, safety, and efficiency across all PPI facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, standardize, and maintain visual work instructions and manufacturing standard work
  • Create clear operator instructions from engineering prints, routings, process flows, and manufacturing standards
  • Establish and maintain documentation standards, revision control processes, and publishing workflows
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Industrial, and Quality Engineers, supervisors, operators, and trainers to ensure best practices are documented and followed
  • Support new product introductions and manufacturing process changes
  • Conduct audits to verify process accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce variation and improve training effectiveness
  • Support implementation of digital work instruction and connected-worker technologies
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or technical degree in a related discipline)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing, industrial, quality, or process engineering experience
  • Experience developing work instructions, standard work, process documentation, or operator training materials
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement principles
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, routings, BOMs, and process documentation
  • Strong technical writing and visual communication skills
  • Experience with document control systems and revision management preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems
  • Experience with CAD, photo-editing, or document-authoring software is a plus
