As a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit, you will collaborate with the healthcare team using evidence-based practices to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Your role will involve promoting continuity of care through effective communication with the interdisciplinary team and families. You will direct the work of support staff and perform general nursing duties with minimal supervision, utilizing critical thinking skills.

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
• Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required
• Current ACLS certification
• Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness
• Basic computer knowledge
• Technical and critical thinking skills related to sound nursing judgment
• Need 1 year experience in setting
