As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and optimal outcomes for mothers and their newborns.

Your role will involve using evidence-based practices, demonstrating accountability, and providing empathetic care. You will also direct the work of support staff and communicate effectively with patients' families and the healthcare team.

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
• Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN
• Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required
• Current ACLS certification (or obtain per guidelines)
• Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Basic computer knowledge and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of nursing practices related to acute care
