Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Clinic Support position in Iowa, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting.

• Active Iowa RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• 3 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred
• Basic PC skills and comfort with Windows operating systems
• Strong telephone communication and customer-focused interpersonal skills
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

• Outpatient clinic setting supporting providers with patient examinations, phone triage, treatments, and procedures
• Responsible for maintaining clinic flow for patients and providers
• Day shift schedule
• 13-week contract
• Assists clinic healthcare providers with patient care within the scope of the RN license and under provider direction
• Must be able to think, converse, and type simultaneously during patient phone interactions
• Ability to set priorities and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork skills required in a collaborative clinic environment
