Instructional Assistant

Position Goal:
To provide the highest quality care and supervision to students in the Broward County School System by providing classroom supports that enhance the instructional process. Also, plays a vital role in the instructional process of an individualized program of education.

Essential Performance Responsibilities:
Minimum qualifications and experience include a standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Education Development (GED) testing program. The ability to interact and communicate effectively with children. Computer skills required as needed for the position.

The job requires significant contacts with frequency, contact, and purpose. Physical requirements are also part of the job.

Terms of Employment:
The job is located at Silver Palms Elementary in Pembroke Pines. The pay grade is GRADE 11 with a compensation hourly rate of $15.84 - $22.51 per hour. New hires will be hired at the minimum of the assigned salary range.
