Learn more:  As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $19.83 / Hour

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, entry points, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Carry authorized duty equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies, using sound judgment and de-escalation techniques when responding to security-related situations.

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
