Job Title:
Slinger / Signaller
We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger / Signaller to join our team on a National Grid project.
Requirements- Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger / Signaller qualification
- Previous experience supporting lifting operations on civil engineering or utilities projects
- Good understanding of lifting procedures, safe systems of work, and site health & safety requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Safely sling and guide loads during lifting operations
- Communicate effectively with crane operators and the Lift Supervisor
- Ensure lifting accessories are inspected and used correctly
- Assist with the safe movement and positioning of materials around site
- Follow lifting plans, site procedures, and National Grid safety standards
- Maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel
