Are you an experienced Welder looking for your next opportunity within the marine industry?
We’re working with an established organisation within the marine sector that is looking for skilled Welders to join their team, supporting the construction, maintenance and refit of a range of marine vessels.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality welds on steel and structural components, helping to bring vessels together and keep existing vessels operating safely and efficiently.
The RoleWorking as part of an experienced fabrication and engineering team, you’ll be involved throughout the vessel build and refit process.
- Welding steel and structural components to drawings and specifications
- Carrying out fabrication and welding work across marine vessel projects
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Preparing materials and components for welding
- Carrying out cutting, grinding and associated fabrication activities
- Inspecting completed work and maintaining high standards of quality
- Supporting installation and structural works where required
- Working closely with Fabricators, Engineers and other trades
- Following all relevant health, safety and quality procedures
- Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to project deadlines

- Previous professional welding experience
- Experience welding steel and structural components
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with in marine, shipbuilding, offshore, fabrication or heavy engineering would be advantageous
