Job DescriptionTo support the functions of the office in which assigned which impact the operation of the district, building, staff, parents and students under the supervision of administration.
Responsibilities- Managing incoming and outgoing communication to the office assigned via visitors, phone calls, email and written correspondence.
- Using computer to produce correspondence, reports, forms, memoranda, and other written documentation.
- Ordering and maintaining supplies for the office and/or department.
- Maintaining accurate attendance reporting using the Subfinder system.
- Completion of tasks required for the functioning of the individual office assigned, including processing of paperwork required by or for students, processing of paperwork and correspondence to parents and the community, and acting as a liaison between staff and administrators related to building needs.
- Maintaining calendar of supervising administrator.
- Supporting the organization and facilitation of statewide testing to include MCAS, PSAT, and SATs.
- Supporting the transition process to include transfer of records and organization of events for students and parents.
- Organization and support of building events as assigned, including the management of building utilization through School Dude.
- Supporting and maintaining budget records through the collection of funds where assigned and processing of requisitions and purchase orders.
- Collaborating with central office administrators for budget, state reporting and student services needs.
- All other duties assigned by supervising administrator specific to the needs of the individual department or building.
Full Time, Twelve Months

Salary: $27 to $32 Per Hour

Requirements- High School Diploma; at least 2 years of experience in one or more responsible administrative and/or secretarial positions.
- Familiarity with district town.
- Strong computer skills, including facility with Google Suite and Munis.
- Detail-oriented and high level of proficiency and accuracy in all duties.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Ability to process and appropriately maintain sensitive, confidential material about employees and students.
- Ability to exercise discretion, work independently, and carry out complex assignments with general instructions.
- Ability to interact appropriately and in a positive manner with Committee, public, staff, and students.
- Ability to learn and understand district rules and procedures and district’s legal requirements.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
