Responsibilities

Baylor Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity – Behavioral Health. Pembroke Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our open day shift Baylor position. This 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. position works every Saturday and Sunday. The position is benefit eligible and there is opportunity to cover additional shifts if interested.

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. It offers inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. All positions begin and end with caring for the patient. By listening deeply and understanding the story of our patients, we will make a difference in the lives we touch.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital part of the multidisciplinary treatment team. With proper training, you will work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs. You will be trained on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma-informed care, therapeutic boundaries, and crisis intervention techniques.

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Consistently identify patient needs
• Provide general and psychiatric patient care
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• Document and communicate unusual changes in client behaviors
