Evenlode Primary School is a thriving two-form entry school located in Penarth. Our Saplings Out of School Care provision is registered with CSSIW and offers high-quality childcare for children aged 4 to 11 years. The provision operates in the school halls before and after the school day and during school holidays.

About the role

Pay Details
:
Grade 7, SCP 20-25 – £32,597 – £36,363 pro rata

Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern
: 28.5 hours a week, 45 wks a year, overtime available, possibility of 2 weeks of annual leave to be taken during term time due to the requirement of the role.

:
Evenlode Primary (Evenlode Avenue)

Description: We are seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic individual to lead and manage staff effectively, ensuring that high‑quality play opportunities are available for all children within a safe, happy, and supportive environment. The postholder will ensure full compliance with day care legislation and relevant CIW regulatory requirements.

About you

You will need
:

  • Strong leadership and staff management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of childcare legislation and CIW compliance.
  • Ability to manage high-quality, child‑centred provision.
