Staff Accountant

Eastern Oregon accounting firm has an opening for a full time Staff level CPA accounting position with 0to 3years of experience in public accounting. We are recruiting for a person that is interested in a career and strong partnership opportunities. Our firm operates year round and provides income tax services, bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement preparation, auditing, and retirement plan services. Salary will be dependent on experience and is very competitive.

Desired skills and experience include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required (advanced degree is preferred)
• Individual and business income tax experience.
• CPA certification or desire to obtain.
• Ability to work as a team and to make suggestions to enhance processes and procedures.
• Good judgement and decision making ability.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and to work within budgetary and time constraints.
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with income tax software (Pro System FX Tax preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with auditing software and tools. (CCH Pro System Engagement and Checkpoint tools preferred)
