Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - OB Hospitalist in Pendleton, OR
Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking a flexible and impactful opportunity? We invite qualified physicians to join our distinguished team in Pendleton, Oregon, providing essential care and support in a dynamic hospital setting.
This role offers the chance to make a difference in patients' lives while enjoying a flexible schedule tailored to your availability.
What You Will Do:
- Provide expert obstetric hospitalist services, ensuring high-quality maternal and neonatal care.
- Cover 24-hour shifts that include weekday clinic responsibilities followed by on-call duties.
- Support weekends on an on-call basis, delivering continuous care to patients in need.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Oregon.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or acute obstetric care.
- Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a rural healthcare setting.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to handle high-volume obstetric patients with confidence.
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Commitment to working 20 shifts per month, primarily 24-hour shifts.
- Availability for scheduled start date of December 1, 2025.
- Willingness to participate in occasional travel or licensure reimbursement programs.
