What You Will Do:

• Provide expert obstetric hospitalist services, ensuring high-quality maternal and neonatal care.
• Cover 24-hour shifts that include weekday clinic responsibilities followed by on-call duties.
• Support weekends on an on-call basis, delivering continuous care to patients in need.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Required Skills:

• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Oregon.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or acute obstetric care.
• Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Previous experience working in a rural healthcare setting.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to handle high-volume obstetric patients with confidence.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Other Requirements:

• Commitment to working 20 shifts per month, primarily 24-hour shifts.
• Availability for scheduled start date of December 1, 2025.
• Willingness to participate in occasional travel or licensure reimbursement programs.
