Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Pendleton, OR

Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking flexible and impactful work opportunities? We are offering a dynamic locum position that allows you to provide critical obstetric care while enjoying the scenic beauty of Pendleton, Oregon. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality maternal and newborn health services, offering enriching clinical experience in a supportive environment. Required Skills:
  • MD or DO degree with valid medical license to practice in Oregon
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Proven experience in obstetric care, labor and delivery management
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hospital-based setting
  • Availability for 20 shifts per month, including weekdays and weekends on-call
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Previous work in diverse clinical environments
  • BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with high-risk obstetrics and emergency procedures
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist or similar clinical experience
  • Active Oregon medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Other Requirements:
  • Must be available to start on December 1, 2025
  • Willingness to work 24-hour shifts including on-call responsibilities
  • Valid medical malpractice insurance
  • Compliance with all hospital and state-specific credentialing requirements
  • Ability to travel as needed for assignments and reimbursements provided for applicable expenses
