  • 4/24- call only 5:30am-5:30am

Clinical Details

• Setting:
  Acute care and clinic practice
• Patients per Day: 14-16 in clinic
• Required Procedures:
  • Diagnostic Colonoscopies
  • Screening Colonoscopies
  • Cholecystectomy
  • Hernia repair with mesh
  • Diagnostic EGD
  • Excision of breast
  • Repair abdominal wall with synthetic substitute
  • Appendectomy
  • Skin Excision
  • Hemorrhoidectomy
• Provide 24-hour call coverage, and provide post-op care, consultations scheduled and emergency surgery
• EMR:
  Meditech in the hospital and eCW in the clinic
• Support Staff:
  Complete staff in the hospital and typical support medical assistants and RN in the clinic
• 500 surgeries per year or 10 per week, 75% of which are outpatient
• Inpatient admissions per week: 2
• One general surgeon working at a time

Requirements

• Board Certified
• State License:
  Oregon (License in process acceptable for May/June start)
• Residency/Fellowship
• ACLS, BLS, DEA
• Malpractice Clean:
  Highly Preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
