Locum Tenens OB/GYN Opportunity

CHI St. Anthony Hospital – Pendleton is looking for OB/GYN locum coverage from 11/5/24 7a to 11/10/24 12p. We can do emergency credentialing for Oregon licensed. Please see submission requirements for details.

Bid Due Date:
First to Fill Rate Caps for submission:

• Malpractice – Must be included in rates.
• Orientation – half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours.
• On Call (Daily) – Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis.
• 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate – Per hours to include 4 hours gratis.
• Call Back – Must match Hourly rate.
• Holiday Call Back – Must match Holiday rate.

Schedule/Availability Requirements: 7:00am to 7:00am 11/5/24 7a-11/10/24 12p.

Facility

Location:

Pendleton, OR Setting:
Rural Critical Access 25 bed hospital - no neonatal - stabilize and transfer if needed.

Duties: labor and delivery and any emergency GYN - ER Pediatrics that are admitted to hospital.

FTE: 1.0 Required Procedures: labor and delivery - c-sections and any emergency OB/GYN or Pediatric coverage.

Meditech Support Staff:
Family Birth Center Nursing staff and Anesthesia staff.

Reason for Coverage: only 2 local providers.

Travel Preferences:

• Preferred Lodging:
  Oxford Suites or Hampton Inn - provider can choose any hotel they are comfortable with in Pendleton, all are in short distance from hospital. Local & in close proximity to the hospital, use current GSA rates. In the event that the Common Spirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market.
• Air Travel:
  There is a local airline called Boutique Air that has flights from Portland OR. However not reliable during winter months (October
  - March) can fly into Pasco WA from Seattle WA (preferred in winter)
  -1 hour drive to Pendleton. Also available Alaska Air from Seattle WA to Walla Walla, WA - 45 minute drive. Acceptable within CSH Travel Policy. Round trip cap.
• Rental Cars:
  Day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class. Mileage: IRS Standard Rate.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe:
  Normal credentialing: depending on when paperwork (application and documents needed) is acquired, usually a month before final approval. Temp privileges can be obtained within a 24 hour period.
• Requirements:
  Oregon license, proof of COI coverage, personal , DEA license if applicable, 3 other facility affiliation confirmation, Board Certification or Board Eligibility.

Submission Requirements Must Note All During Name Clear To Avoid Being Redirected:

• Board Certified - REQUIRED - can accept Board Eligible
• In-hand OR State License - REQUIRED
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice
  - Clean Preferred for emergency privs - nothing within the past 5 years or clear repetitive offenses to qualify
• Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
