Position: Certified Middle School PTA in Pendleton, OR

This contract position places you in a variety of school environments-elementary, middle, and high school-where you'll play a key role in enhancing students' academic experience through PT services. Utilize your Certified and Licensed PTA expertise to help students achieve their mobility and functional goals, empowering them to participate fully in all aspects of school life.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification and state licensure required
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
• Understanding of pediatric development and a passion for working with children and adolescents
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary educational teams
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to adapt activities and environments for student participation
• Assess students' functional abilities and design treatment plans to support academic access and physical development
• Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with educational and legal standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for students' development and well-being
