Position: SpEd Teacher - 2026-2027 School year - Elementary Multiple Openings
The Pendleton School District has openings for Special Education Teachers for the 26-27 school year.

Closing Date:

Certification Required: Preliminary or Professional Teaching License with an endorsement in Elementary and Special Education Generalist to meet TSPC requirements.

Supervisor: Building Principal

Salary Range: As per Placement on the salary schedule plus Special Education stipend.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision(District contributes $1,960), $50k Life and Accidental Death Insurance.

Other Information: Applicant must possess skills for developing effective comprehensive educational programs for students with moderate to significant needs in the areas of academic skills, communication, socialization, cognition, sensory, social emotional skills, self-regulation skills, and life skills.
Successful applicants must be able to provide proper case management including procedurally compliant IEP's, work with instructional assistants, work with specialists, and collaborate with general education teachers regarding inclusion. Applicant must have completed the requirements for the special education endorsement and have experience working with students with diverse learning challenges.

Experience with Inclusive Multi-Tiered Systems of Support within a Response to Intervention Framework preferred.

Job Description: The Certified staff member demonstrates a continuing work attitude toward effectively accomplishing the department, building, district and community educational goals.

Qualifications The staff member must hold a valid license, with proper endorsements for the area of assignment as set by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commiss noted by TSPC.
