ENERGY Conservation Specialist Security Clearance

Position: ENERGY CONSERVATION SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will provide technical evaluations of new and existing projects and review facilities, utility plans and system expansions or alterations.
* You will analyze management reports prepared by the FMS and for making appropriate recommendations to the Utilities Director for various corrective measures to increase system efficiency and cost effectiveness.
* You will conduct utility surveys and reports in accordance with current directives from HQMC.
* You will perform engineering inspection of plant equipment, evaluates data, prepares utility targets and recommends repairs, alterations, or improvements.
* You will perform field investigations during construction involving difficult problems such as changes in design due to latent conditions and interfaces new work with existing structures and/or those under construction. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
* You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
* This is a bargaining unit position. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: improving energy conservation, cost effectiveness, and operation efficiency of the base utility systems including project development, budget requests, and energy monitoring.
