Job Overview
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13‑week acute care assignment in Pendleton, Oregon. The role covers outpatient orthopedics and additional acute inpatient, acute rehab, and transitional care services.
Shift / Duration- Start date:
May 18, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 4 x 10‑hour shifts (40 hours per week) - Friday off; no weekend or holiday requirements
- Provide outpatient orthopedic therapy, covering approximately 80–100% of caseload.
- Cover acute inpatient, acute rehab, and transitional care services as needed.
- Chart using MEDITECH for acute care and ReDoc for outpatient documentation.
- Utilize lymphedema training when applicable.
- Collaborate with rehab aides; no COTAs on unit.
- Participate in department‑specific orientation (≈12 hours).
- Wear scrubs; denim not permitted.
- Active Oregon OT license required.
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience.
- Experience with orthopedics, hands, elbows, and shoulders essential.
- Current BLS certification required (pending certifications not accepted).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Two professional references: one supervisor within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor within the last 3 years (with dates of employment and rehire eligibility).
- Not previously directly employed by any Common Spirit or affiliated facility within the past year (PRN placement via outside firm allowed).
- Tax‑free stipend to be determined (based on 10‑hour shifts).
