Locums Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Opportunity

We are seeking a Locums Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide coverage in Pendleton, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA seeking a consistent weekday schedule and manageable patient volume in a supportive clinical environment.

Position Highlights

• Schedule:
  
  Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Work Week: 32 hours per week
• Four 8-hour shifts with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Approximately 8 patients per day
• Consistent weekday schedule
• No weekend coverage indicated

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, strengthening, balance, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on exercises, mobility techniques, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Oregon PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
