American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient/acute care assignment requiring 1+ year of outpatient experience and an Oregon PT license.
Details- Care setting is a mix of outpatient and acute inpatient, with outpatient making up 40-50% of caseload
- Outpatient clinic located in an athletic club, with acute coverage on the medical floor
- Outpatient appointments are approximately 45 minutes each
- Patient population is mostly orthopedic with a variety of acute medical and neuro cases due to small-town setting
- Uses MEDITECH EMR for charting
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, either Tuesday-Friday or Monday-Thursday, with an 8:00 AM start
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- Works alongside a rehab team of 10 PTs, 5 OTs, and 2 SLPs, plus PTA aides (no PTAs on staff)
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Oregon state PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Responsibilities include treating a mix of inpatient/acute and outpatient patients across orthopedic, medical, and neuro diagnoses
- Department-specific orientation provided on Day 1
- Business casual dress code required; denim not permitted
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
