Duties
- You will ensure the proper documentation and assistance with any client/victim visits, to include intake screening, conflict checking, and scheduling appointments.
- You will assist with proper management and tracking of client/victim case information.
- You will prepare legal documents as assigned, including motions and responses to motions in accordance with applicable laws and rules of the court.
- You will perform legal research for individual cases, including: analyzing applicable statutes, regulations, rules and procedures, legal encyclopedias, periodicals, and case law, and drafting memoranda of law concerning such research, as assigned.
- You will plan, organize, and make presentations to groups concerning the services and maintain current legal knowledge through annual continuing legal education, such as seminars and online training.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Resolve problems through legal research for individual cases relating to victims' counsel by analyzing applicable statutes, regulations, rules and procedures, and identifying legal issues; conducting research into applicable legal decisions and opinions; and making decisions and recommendations on specific situations.
