JOB SUMMARY
Oversees the slot floor operations on assigned shifts, including customer service, staffing levels, slot machine play, and compliance with established policies and regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
- Maintains close floor surveillance over an assigned area to detect irregularities on the part of players or assigned personnel.
- Responsible for verification of Jackpot payouts, hand-pay tickets, and mutilated guest tickets for the cage.
- Supervision of staff to include hiring, scheduling, leave approval, performance counseling, evaluation, training, operational orientation, and staff development.
- Review variance and procedural violations, addressing them accordingly with staff.
- Complete daily shift reports/logs including supervisor logs, progressive jackpot totals, progressive jackpot lockups, and variance reports.
- Trains and ensures compliance requirements are followed through regulatory laws, PP&P, department policy and procedures, codes, etc.
- Assign and monitor slot bank drawers and keys.
- Promote effective communication with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates through regular staff meetings, co-worker/management/supervisor team meetings, and other forms of communication.
- Must be flexible with assigned shifts/hours, able to work a rotation of all shifts, and available as needed by business or staff.
- Participate and attend designated meetings, training, activities, etc., as directed.
- In the absence of the shift manager, serve as designated MOD (manager on duty).
- Perform functions of subordinates as needed.
- Promotes a clean, safe, healthy, and friendly work environment for employees and guests.
- Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, materials, etc., are handled safely.
- Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

- Slot banks.
- Jackpot payouts and jackpot checks.
- Controlled items - slot paper.
ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS

- Keys to a double lock box.
- Slots controlled storage areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
:
- Two (2) years’ experience in slots.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- High School Diploma or GED or ten years’ experience.
- Ten Key knowledge and abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
- Needs to stand and walk for long periods in a noisy environment; performs repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits.
- Ability to work any shift, holidays, and weekends.
- Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
