Job Description

Freedom Church Pendleton is located in Pendleton, IN, and is a new church and considered a campus church of Freedom Church in Noblesville, IN. We are part of the Church of God in Cleveland, denomination, and are a Spirit-filled, Pentecostal church. We are seeking a dynamic worship leader who can build our worship teams and congregation in faithfulness to God's multi-ethnic vision as we seek to spread the knowledge and love of Jesus in our communities.

As church staff, the music pastor partners with and is under the supervision of the pastor. As a prospective member of Freedom Church, this person is expected to maintain a Christian life, fulfill the Biblical expectations regarding leaders' integrity, and respond to the church's admonitions and guidance.

We believe that worship turns our hearts and focus back to God. Through praise & worship music, to draw people to Christ, to grow them as disciples, to focus their worship of God, and equip them for a life lived as worship, and to coordinate their service in the worship ministries of Freedom Church. Each of these elements is done with a view toward the vision, “Love God, Love People & Serve the world,” and our ministry and musical context, which is generally contemporary and high-energy, and currently features vocals, guitar, drums, bass, and keyboard.
