Northwest Youth Corps seeks Community Wildfire Protection Crew (CWPC) Members to work in Eastern Oregon, focusing on building fire-resilient communities. This immersive program includes formal training and hands-on experience in firefighting and woodland conservation.
Crew members must partake in physically demanding tasks, live in close quarters, and participate in educational discussions. The program requires a positive attitude, commitment, and teamwork to succeed in a structured outdoor environment.
Benefiting from a stipend and an Ameri Corps education award, participants develop critical career skills while making a tangible impact in their communities.
