Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Location: Pendleton, OR Agency: United Health Care Staffing, Inc. Pay: $2,600 to $2,800 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 7/6/2026

About the Position

Travel Nurse Source  is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified LDRP RN in Pendleton, Oregon, 97801!

Registered Nurse - L&D/PP/Nursery

Location: Pendleton, OR

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM), block scheduling, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including monitoring and supporting through delivery
  • Manage postpartum care for mothers and newborns, ensuring a smooth transition
  • Care for routine and intermediate nursery patients, including stabilization and transfer if needed
  • Titrate drips such as Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, and Insulin as ordered
  • Serve as charge nurse and coordinate unit activities
  • Float to other units as a helping hand when census allows
  • Utilize FE Centricity fetal monitoring system
Knowledge & Skills
  • Labor and delivery nursing care
  • Postpartum and newborn assessment
  • Routine and intermediate nursery management
  • Drip titration (Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, Insulin)
  • Fetal monitoring (FE Centricity)
  • Charge nurse leadership
  • Floating and adaptability

Requirements
  • Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for 90-day emergency license
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Strong experience in L&D, postpartum, and nursery care
  • Ability to work independently and be a reliable backup for teammates
  • Comfort with drip titration and managing both labor and postpartum patients
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
