Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience
- 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
- Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Local & travel allowed.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- COVID booster required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
- Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
Additional Details
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Weekend Requirement: every other
Holiday Requirement: negotiable
Is there a call or standby requirement? if placed on low census, expected to report within 30 minutes of call.
Floating Requirement: RNs not fully cross trained to other departments are expected to assist if floating as “helping hands”. May elect to fully cross train to other departments.
Ratios: 1:2-3, unstable vent patients 1:1
Common diagnoses/Types of patients sepsis, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, DKA, COPD exacerbation, RSV/Influenza/COVID-19, occasional stable pediatric patients (mixed unit)- must be comfortable with all age populations.
Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: ventilator, drip titrations,
Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips heparin, vasopressors, Bumex, insulin, sedation/analgesia.
CCU RNs read telemetry strips for med-surg pts
Facility holidays: 12/25/2025, 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
