Assists the Assistant Beverage Managers and Beverage Manager with the effective daily operation of the bowling bar. This role provides direct, hands‑on supervision of bowling bar staff while actively participating in bowling bar service operations.
Essential Job Functions- Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service at all times.
- Promotes and maintains a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
- Supervises bowling bar staff in accordance with company policy, including involvement in hiring, termination, performance coaching and counseling, performance evaluations, employee orientation, scheduling, training, and staff development.
- Efficiently takes orders, accurately enters orders into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and processes payments using approved payment methods.
- Prepares food and beverage orders and ensures prompt and accurate delivery to guests.
- Washes, stocks, and maintains glassware, utensils, and bar service equipment.
- Consults with Beverage Management regarding improvements and operational changes within service areas.
- Enforces all beverage service regulations, health standards, and safety requirements for employees and guests in compliance with WRC Alcohol Policy and Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) policies and procedures.
- Assists Beverage Management in maintaining, updating, and implementing training manuals, operational policies, and procedural guidelines for all beverage service areas.
- Communicates with guests and staff in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Assists in training bowling bar staff and monitors drink preparation and handling to ensure consistency in recipes, product quality, and presentation standards.
- Assists with implementing and directing ordering and purchasing procedures for all products used in beverage service operations; maintains effective communication with supporting departments.
- Assists with creating weekly staff schedules within established labor budgets, balancing staffing levels with business demands; functions as a hands‑on working supervisor during service periods.
- Assists in maintaining organized, secure alcohol storage areas and ensures appropriate controls are in place to safeguard beverage inventory and related property.
- Assists Beverage Management with beverage inventory counts, including the preparation of monthly inventory reports.
- Assists Beverage Management with conducting staff meetings to share information, gather feedback, reinforce expectations, promote accountability, and foster a positive and engaging team environment.
- Complies with the employee handbook, applicable laws and regulations, departmental policies and procedures, and safety codes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- F&B controlled areas.
- Two (2) years of front‑of‑the‑house supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry.
- One (2) year of experience working in a high‑volume bar or lounge.
- High School Diploma or GED or ten years’ experience.
- Trained and knowledgeable of various liquor recipes.
- Must have a good work history and be able to work flexible schedules.
- Strong interpersonal, guest service, leadership, communication, analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills are required.
- Demonstrates computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS.
- Needs to Stand and/or walk for long periods; needs to perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; needs to bend, lift, and maneuver 50 lbs.; and has good visual and auditory acuity.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
- Must possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment.
- Requires a criminal history background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
