Job SummaryAssists the Food Court Manager in the effective day-to-day operation of the food court. This position is responsible for supervising food court staff to ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency. The supervisor assists with menu planning, purchasing, and inventory control; oversees grill operations and food preparation; and ensures compliance with all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused food service environment.
- Ensures exemplary customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service at all times.
- Assists the manager in assessing menu items, recipes, and condiments to enhance product offerings and guest satisfaction; recommends and implements adjustments as needed.
- Promotes a guest‑focused service culture by modeling prompt, professional, and courteous behavior.
- Supervises food court staff, including hiring, scheduling, approving leave, training, coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting employee development.
- Prepares food orders, including cooking and frying, and ensures timely and accurate delivery of completed orders.
- Operates the cash register and point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, including entering orders, applying discounts, processing payments, and providing correct change.
- Administers POS register functions, including running reports, maintaining supplies, and requesting service or repairs as needed.
- Adheres to all food handling codes, regulations, and safety practices, and promotes compliance among staff.
- Assists the Manager in maintaining accurate inventories of food and supplies; replenishes stock by preparing orders and requisitions; verifies deliveries and reconciles received goods with authorized payments.
- Maintains customer dining areas in a clean and orderly condition, including tables, chairs, and floors; promptly removes and disposes of trash, utensils, and beverage containers.
- Assists with the planning and execution of Food Court promotions and special initiatives.
- Keeps the Manager informed of grill operations, including operational plans, staffing needs, concerns, and issues.
- Remains informed of WRC events and activities to anticipate service demands and staffing requirements.
- Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, employee handbook guidelines, departmental policies and procedures, and safety standards.
- Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests; promptly reports safety or operational concerns to management.
- Ensures that all equipment, tools, and materials are operated and handled safely at all times.
- Upholds internal guest service standards through courteous, respectful, and professional interactions with coworkers and guests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Personnel actions/forms.
- Input schedules into the payroll system (UKG).
- POS System.
- Storage area.
- Three (3) years of F&B experience.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- One (1) year of customer service experience.
- High School Diploma or GED or ten years of experience.
- Demonstrates computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- POS (Point of Sale) System experience.
- Strong communication skills – needs to generate proficient written correspondence, and possesses effective oral, verbal, and interpersonal skills and abilities to work effectively in a variety of situations with a diverse workforce.
- Licensed/certified as a food handler within one month of employment, and maintains certification.
- Stand and/or walk for long periods, needs to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; needs to lift and maneuver 50 lbs. routinely throughout the day.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule in times of high business volume and special events.
- Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
