Construction Project Manager

Our client, a global leader in construction and infrastructure project delivery, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Construction and Operations team supporting Project Closeout and Turnover stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Manager – Turnover & Closeout (Construction) (6-month contract)
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Pay Range: $67.15 – $72.34 per hour

• Act as primary liaison between construction and operations teams during project turnover
• Coordinate, collect, and validate turnover deliverables including as-builts, redlines, O&M manuals, and closeout documentation
• Maintain and manage tracking systems for all turnover documentation to ensure timely delivery
• Support meetings, site walks, and knowledge transfer sessions between stakeholders
• Collaborate with contractors, designers, MSFT stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve documentation gaps

• Experience in construction management, project management, or document control (preferably in MEP or high-risk construction environments)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, and as-builts
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Familiarity with construction closeout and turnover processes
• Safety training and understanding of onsite construction requirements (PPE compliance)
